Music for a Jewish Processional

Let's not forget that Jewish processionals have their own music traditions, so here below are our recommendations for a Jewish  Wedding Ceremony.

1. Wedding Party Processional: Erev Shel Shoshanim (Evening of Roses) - Messiah College Concert Choir. According to our experienced Wedding Planner Sergio Morales he said: "In my opinion, the best option for the Wedding Party Processional".

2. Bridal Entrance: Anni Le dDodi Li - I am my beloved... my beloved is mine.  Commonly played for Jewish Bridal Entrance with both parents and the Recessional.

3. Newly Weds and Recessional:  Once the ceremony is over and it is time to receive the new couple. Hava Naglia from Andre Rieu from Live at the Royal Albert Hall.

Music for a Perfect Wedding Ceremony

This week topic is Music for Perfect Weddings Ceremony. In the previous post you where able to listen to some of our suggestions for a Wedding Processional.

Now we decided to give you a list of a Perfect Wedding Ceremony according to the choice suggested by our Wedding Planner Sergio Morales.

In our Interview with him he suggested the next:

1. For the Pre-Ceremony.  You need to have at least 30 minutes of Classical Music. "It takes usually 15 min but you should have more just in case". He suggested Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi among your favorite classic musicians.

2. Prelude (also named Formal Seating). He was more specific on this choice and he went for "Air Form Water Music Suite" from George Frideric Handel. What he said about this choice was "Just because it is Perfect". "Although Wedding March is very popular among brides some of them hate it because it is a expected song.

3. For the Wedding Party Processional. He suggested "Air on the G String" from Johann Sebastian Bach.

4. For the Bridal Entrance. He said that for him it couldn't be another choice but "Canon In D (Piano) from Johann Pachelbel. "It is just the perfect Bridal Entrance. Soft, Sweet, Magical and Magnificent".

5. During the Ceremony / Interlude. While someone is reading a poem or while the vows are recited. The closest song to heaven is where you pray the Holy Mother to bless your union. So "Ave María" from the Vienna Boys Choir is a must.

6. For the Recessional. Right after the famous closing part "you may kiss the bride" and people get all excited about the newly weds, the recommendation will always be: "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" from George Frideric Handel.

7. Nominated as Others. Which will be for Photos and Congratulations more Classical Music to go. Or even some modern romantic songs chosen by the Newly Weds.

With this we completed what we call in Perfect Weddings a Perfect Wedding Processional. We hope you'll agree with us. Remember that if you don't it is because every Bride is right and we have to change for you to have your own Perfect Wedding.

Wedding Processional

There are many ways you can fix your wedding for it to be original, classic and amazing at the same time. In Perfect Weddings we know this and for that we are concern weather you have an idea or not that a ceremony can be divided in seven different segments according to development of the processional.

Well, in this section we are going to mention some music that can be played during those segments.

Segment one: Pre-ceremony. This segment is when your guests are waiting for the bride to be ready it is more or less 30 min before the ceremony begins. It is so because people tent to arrive during this amount of time for the processional to start.

a) Allegro Vivace 4-1 Mendelssohn, Felix.

b) Arioso, Bach.

c) Oventure From Don Giovanni, Mozart.

Now that we know they are so different from each other and yet all of them perfect for a classic ceremony introduction.

During the Processional we have divided it in 3 different segments.

1. Formal Seating / Prelude. In this part people will notice that it is almost time for them to finish their chats and begin getting ready to take their seats and prepare for the ceremony to start.

We recommend:

a) Panis Angelicus from Andrea Bocelli.

b) Symphony No. 40 from Wolfgang Amadeus Motzart.

c) Trumpet Tune (Mandolin) from Henry Purcell.

2. We save the best for later. Now we have the Wedding Party Processional, where we change the music accordingly to your personality. We suggest the next songs.

a) Minut In  Minor form Ludwig Van Beethoven. Dramatic entrance.

b) Prelude Form TE Deum, H. 146 from Marc Antoine Charpentier.

c) Canon In D (Piano)  from Johann Pachelbel. (This is what we think is the best for this momento).

Again very different from each other but jet perfect according to the momento you would like to create.

3. Now the third Moment will be the Bridal Entrance. For this we really need to go deep into getting to know the bride and her style. This moment will be for her to enjoy, to remember and to transform herself from being single to have a partner for the rest of her life. So it really needs to be special.

We have many recommendations but if they should be what bride really connect with.

a) Con te Partiro form Andrea Bocelli.

b) Wedding March - Here Comes the Bride from Bluefield and Portmen, by David and Mark.

c) Midsummer Night from Felix Mendelssohn.

After these 3 special moments we have an Interlude as our 5th division and a Recessional for those we have selected different songs to continue in the mood of the ceremony and to get into the next step. To feel the union done by the two lovers everyone came to witness.

a) Somewhere in Time, from Nicolo Paganini.

b) The Lord's Prayer from Albert Malotte.

c) Wedding Chorale from Herbert Kretzmer in the Miserables.

We have more options for all those moments you want others to enjoy and for you to remember. Of course for every Bride there is a different recipe and for every wedding to be original, amazing, loving, just a Perfect Wedding with Perfect Weddings at La Isla.
